Thread: May 21, 2011 Inside Passage Anyone?

Hubby and I are planning a Vancouver Inside Passage cruise for May 21, 2011. Just thought it would be fun to have a roll call to share stories and gain insight from others who might also be going on this cruise. I have been planning this cruise for literally years, but I love to plan We don't usually vacation on cruises as Hubby hated the last cruise we went on (Carnival). I am hoping this experience changes his mind about cruising!

Great cruise.

We are still going on our cruise, if anyone is out there and also going, I would love to chat about it!

P.S. Nobody wants to chat on my roll call on 'that other cruise chat' forums and there are 3 other people going as the same time as me! I can't even go chat with other cruisers going at a diff time cuz it is against their RIDICULOUS rules so I have nobody to listen to me talk for the hundredth time about going dogsledding! I feel like throwing a tantrum and not telling them about the free night at the fairmont. ::devil smilie::

Why won't they chat with me? Do I have bad breath?

I used to join the Roll Calls on that other site. One time we had about 20 people -- but no one wanted to meet once on the ship. No big deal. All they wanted to do was chat about their families.

Another time there was mention about getting together -- they made the final arrangements AFTER we had left for Florida -- there were only about 6 people.

Now all the Roll Calls want everyone to e-mail and send information -- I won't e-mail - and they want to do $10 gifts and cabin crawls. I am not into that.

I am not that into going on a cabin crawl, but chatting with people about the cruise would be nice, maybe even to meet for a drink or something once there.

Sometimes you get a real active roll call and then other times it's a dud.
I also go to that other board and check out the roll calls. Sometimes it's just a clique who know each other from previous cruises and talk amongst themselves and other times it's a real friendly group. I didn't bother to join the "other" roll call for our Equinox cruise last month....but I did join the upcoming transatlantic. Nice folks who are excited about the cruise. Wish I could get some of them over here!

Me too, me too. It's such a nice chat community, I am very surprised that more people haven't caught on (yet)!

We are still going, not too late to get chatty about the cruise!
