Thread: Zaandam 3/06/2007 San Diego Circle to Hawaii

Hello - this is a very active and interesting board, thanks to all of you!

Well, we are very excited and really need a vacation. We are sailing on this 15 day cruise to Hawaii and I posted on the CC board and now am convinced the my dh Wally and I and another lovely gentleman who replied on that board are the only ones sailing. The three of us are going to have a great time.

We have sailed numerous times including HAL but I have never been to Hawaii. We love days at sea so this seemed the perfect trip!

We did the circle Hawaii cruise last year on the Amsterdam.

No one from any of the sites answered my roll call.

We are a really friendly bunch of cruisers even if we aren't sailing on this cruise. Laffnvegas cruised on the Zaandam at Thanksgiving and spoke very highly of the ship. I too enjoyed the ship and it's eclectic collection of art and musical memorabilia when we cruised her in March 2005 !

My husband and I are hoping to take this same cruise in 2011. We are wondering which side of the ship to book, we don't like afternoon sun. HAVE FUN and let us know how it goes. Nancy7809

Nancy, Are you doing a round trip?

All of HAL's Hawaiian cruises are round trip from San Diego. They have been cut back to 14 days so that you now leave on Sunday and return on Sunday.

It doesn't look like the previous posters are coming back to this thread to tell you how they liked their cruise. bummer!

When you get booked, make a new roll call with your sailing date in the title to see if we have any members sailing with you.
