Smile Westerdam 8/24/08 rt Seattle to Alaska

Desperately seeking someone to play cards with my husband, Rick, a good card player who likes bridge, hearts, spades, gin rummy, and just about all cards. No scheduled card games in this weeklong trip, but there must be somebody who'd like to play in some little spot onboard.
Rick doesn't go ashore, as he uses a walker and tires quickly, and on the two sea days, he'll enjoy a card game. If there are any veterans of the Army onboard, that would make Rick's day.

Hey saintpat! Welcome to our friendly cruise community!

I won't be on your cruise, but wanted to say hello! I do hope some of our folks will be sailing with you. I dearly love Alaska! Been there 5 times and looking to go again! Enjoy your cruise!

    Hi SaintPat. Welcome aboard.
If you don't find a card player before you sail, check the community bulletin board and also bring a card to put up on it that states what you would like. I'm not sure where it would be on the Westerdam, but guest relations can point you in the right direction.
    Have a great cruise

You can usually have the Exploration's Cafe manager post a note for you there (Crow's Nest - Observation Deck - 10).

But if these rooms aren't reserved for something else, all card playing is done here: Half Moon, Hudson and Stuvysant -- all next to each other on the Promenade Deck (3)- port side.

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
    Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
