Thread: Westerdam May 30, 2007 - 20 days

We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on this cruise. We are from Toronto, Canada and look forward to our first cruise to the Med. We have only cruised eastern Carib. before and wife has done Alaskan cruise on HAL. Any advice on this cruise or other people on board would be welcome.

First of all, Welcome to CLF!!
It appears you've chosen the Meditterean cruises, one that goes to the Eastern Med and then the one to the Western Med. You've picked the perfect time to cruise in the Med. My DH and I sailed the Noordam last year and can give you information about the ports of Rome, Livorno, Monte Carlo, and Barcelona. Others here have done the other ports such as Santorini and Naples.

This sounds like a wonderful cruise. I have a good friend that is the Manager for the shops on board the ship and will be on the Westerdam as the Shop manager when you cruise. Her name is Julie and she really is a sweetheart.

Also congratulations for your 30 year Wedding Anniversary. Tom and I are also hitting that milestone this year. 1977 must have bben a good year for weddings We are celebrating our 30 year on the Oosterdam March 17th and will be doing our ROV.
