    Voyager Class Solariums

Need some confirmation...........just found out the solarium roofs are non existant on the Voyager class ships? We are going on our first one (Mariner) in April............somebody has told me none of the roofs close on the Solarium pools..........just a big wide open space..........is this true?

    Thanks Jim

You are testing my memory a little Jim.
As I recall it is enclosed.
    The roof is not retractable.
I know the jacuzzi's are covered.
I could have my ships confused...

Thanks John........obviously since I haven't been on a Voyager Class ship yet I'm just trying to confirm..........somebody told me it was just a wide open space with no roof.........but that doesn't make sense to me.......defeats the purpose of a solarium..........

    Anyone know for sure?

I can't remember either- very nice area though- peaceful place- has windows, padded loungers, hot tubs and a bar- love the solarium- seems like it was open but like a trayed ceiling with the tray part being open - hope that makes sense?
every cruise is a good cruise as long as i am on it...........

Not completely closed in there is no roof that closes. kinda like the trey ceiling thing mentioned. the outer are is covered and the hot tubs are covered but the part over the pool is open.

It is a great place to relax, I took a couple of naps there when on the Mariner.
