This is Barcelona to Venice. There is a group of us together on this cruise. Is there anyone else from the site on this cruise?

I do hope some of our folks will be sailing with you!

Hi Judson .. welcome BACK to CLF... this is a great place to plan your cruise..you and Louise are just going to love the Barcelona to Venice Run..

I will be on this ship the cruise before yours. Do you want me to bring you anything from Texas that I might be able to leave on the ship for you?

Jeeeeeeeeeesh!! I keep forgetting to check back to see what's going on here. Thank goodness FaceBook reminds me from time to time.

It doesn't look like there are any Cruise Line Fans that do river cruises. The ship is full so someone is going - LOL!!

Hi All! While we won't be on this cruise with you, we will be very interested in hearing about it when you return ... since we absolutely plan to take a cruise with Barcelona as our embarkation port.

Ann, I will be on the cruise that brings this ship to Barcelona right before yours. We haven't made any arrangements for what we will do once we disembarck in Barcelona. Do you have hotels booked for your pre and post yet? If so, I would be interested to know where you are staying.

Judson, some of us have done river cruises but it's been a while. If you have questions, post them and one of us who has done one may be able to answer. Both Irishkat and TexasHorseLady have posted reviews of their trips, which you can find if you click on the Cruise Reviews tab at the top of the page. And by the way, I would be interested in knowing if you have a hotel in Barcelona as well.

Hi Mindy, yes we have booked the Hotel Villa Emilia in Barcelona. We understand it is a wonderful hotel. It does seen to be a bit further from everthing and we may change. Been looking at other post regarding Barcelona and also just looking online. I watched Samatha Brown Barcelona the other day and she stayed in the Hotel Claris. However, that was 5 years ago. I looked at the reviews on TripAdvisor and they are mixed, (as usual), but it did look like a nice hotel. I understand some others have stayed at the Hotel Continental. The reviews through TripAdvisor are about the same as the Hotel Claris.
