We're going too! Celebrating our 30th. Lots of celebrating going on this cruise. This is the 1st RC cruise, so I am excited. I see you have been on the Conquest also.

Yes we had a blast on the Conquest! Our favorite cruise so far. We took our 2 adults children & their sig. others (who are now all now married) with us and gave them all their first cruise experience. This will be our first RC cruise and are really excited about it. We like leaving out of Galveston. We can drive down there from where we live.

Hey Ellen, this may sound really weird, but all of the above you wrote, we did the exact same thing with our kids, (2 and thier sig. others, now married). We live in Ruston, Louisiana so we can drive down to port early that morning. I'm sure that RC is going to be even better!

That is wierd but in a cool way and I am feeling that this will be better . Have been researching shore time activities and getting back to my Weight Watcher diet! Going to look FAB @ 50-lol Only 81 days.

Oh yes the DIEt!!! I am working on mine now, but as usual it is slooow. I did buy a new swim suit, so I have to at least try to lose some. I just re-read your first post. I realize you are celebrating your 50th BIRTHDAY not 50th ANNIVERSARY. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary, but I just turned 50 in SEPT and have found nothing to celebrate yet! Maybe when I get onboard the ship I will feel different. Anyway, I plan to have a blast.

Ellen, I notice that the title of this thread has Jan 25th, but your signature says Jan 27th. If the date is the 27th I can change the title for you. If your sig needs to be changed to the 25th, then you can do it!
