My opinion why the ship was circling is because Emerald Princess was leaving the Oslo Fiord and they were waiting for the pilot from that ship to join them. Depth of the ocean was probably to deep to drop anchor. I just hope it was not a serious incident.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

This morning due to the slowness of the camera to change the image only managed one live shot of Vision of the seas. I have used the alternative though, and they give a good impression of entering Oslo.

Vision of hte Seas has berthed in the Filipstad Container Port because facilities for passenger change over are there.

Lars & Arnaldo your cruise has been short but we hope it was memorable and have a safe and pleasant short flight home this afternoon.

May I thank everyone for the kind words spoken about me, it’s a pleasure doing these observations as long as you wish me to carry on and also the valuable help I receive from Char and others.

We try to be as accurate as possible, and can only apologise if occasionally it is not quite right.

Welcome back Lars & Arnaldo!

Now you are all rested up for the busy time at work.

So, Lars...were you aware of the circles that the Vision of the Seas was making...or were you fast asleep?
Inquiring minds want to know!

We are home!!!

We changed out flight to a 1 pm flight instead of 430 pm.
The weather in Oslo was a bit cold and grey so i thought we better go home early. We picked up the dog and arrived at the house at 230pm.
Arnaldo have been posting lots of pictures over on FB but I will post a few here as soon as I get the time.

I did not know we sailed around in circles but that explains the headaches we woke up with
Arnaldo was awake at 5am but the bed on the ship was way to comfy to leave so I did not get up before late.
Norman, I agree the sailing in/out of Oslo is stunning. We did sail out of Oslo last year but will have to do it again.
The cruise was very short. I have never taken such a short cruise in my life.
But we enjoyed it very much and this time the Vision proved to be very pleasant experience and I am sure we will take another 4-5-6 days cruise on board as it is very convenient with departure cities in either Oslo, Stockholm or
Copenhagen.

Welcome home Lars.

Those short cruises are nice breaks but they do make you want more. Good thing you don't have long to wait for the next one
Judy It's hard to SOAR with Eagles, if you Fly with Turkeys!
