Thread: Vision OTS - Western Europe - April 19 2010!

Hi again Lars

It's been a few years already, since I last visited Lisbon, so I can only remember those traditionally visited places like: Castelo de São Jorge; "A baixa" (downtown); Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Belém...while you're there don't forget to have some "Pastéis de Belém"(small, cream on a fuff pastry case cakes, sprinkled with cinnamon...yummy!).

As you were there before, you most probably have visited all these places...however it may nice to return.

Did you visit Sintra already? Particularly nice and very green. And Castelo da Pena? Interesting if you like History. And Cabo da Roca? The most western point of the European Continent.

There are so many things to do.
We arrive into Lison Saturday April 17 in the early evening and board the Vision of the seas April 19 which will give us not too much time in the City.

I will for sure try the Pastéis de Belém I usually dont need to be asked twice when it comes to trying pastries

Sorry I've been such a bad roll call mate but things have been crazy getting ready for this cruise. We are flying to Barcelona tomorow and embarking on Sunday. SOOOOOO excited!

I am going to take lots of pics of the ship for you and let you know how it was when we get back. I can't wait to start planning this one!

I am searching for flights.
Brussel air lines have a flight via Brussels but the price has gone up since I last looked, and they are using a small 80 seater plane from Oslo to Brussels which is not my nor "A"s idea of a good time

TAP Portugal has a direct flight from Oslo. The price is ok but for some reason I dont want to book it......yet.....I really should.

We are flying in Saturday 17 or Friday 16.


The tours on the Royal Caribbean web site is still not open for booking.

We are rethinking going to Paris from Le Havre. With a 2.5-3 hours drive each way there will not be lots of time to see anything in Paris.
I am thinking about doing something around Le Havre and then go to Paris for a long weekend instead.

100 days until we sail one more day and we are down to double digits.
30 days until final payment and 10 days, hopefully, before RCCL opens up for the Cruise Enchantments

The JS has gone UP $400 for the cabin
The JS seem to be selling out. Thankfully there are almost all the GS and OS left for an upgrade.

Cabins on our Alaska cruise have gone up about $900 for the cabin...that's for a D1 on the Radiance OTS.

WOW - thats a large jump in price, Char.
We have to see what is happening with the prices after final payment.
I am thinking that RCCL ups the price so they dont have to pay out any OBCs for price drops after final payment. (as per they new rules)
