I love gty categories The exitement of waiting for a cabin.....and we are still waiting for our cabin assignement. I bet we get a nice little upgrade since in effect this is a 1st anniversary cruise

Got our cabin assigned right under the dining room A quick call to RCI and they got us moved to a better location

I booked our hotel in Copenhagen this morning using my Radisson staff discount.
Only thing I can say is that we got a gooood deal

Hi everyone, i'm Clotilde from Belgium. We have never been to Danemark nor to Norway.
We also booked this 5 days short break to the Norwegian Fjords. We will drive to Copenhagen on the 26th August.

We just booked for the 10th also!! The guaranty offer was too good to pass up + a few more dollars saved with sr. pricing. This morning the guaranty category was no longer offered. Always wanted to get to the Geiranger Fjord

The guaranty category (our first try at it) feels like bidding on Priceline!!

BTW, what great offer does Marriott at the moment?? We were lucky with flights -- AirBerlin is/was running a great sale until last night -- from Düsseldorf to Copenhagen for €55 pP round-trip. But the hotels (1 night pre-cruise and 2 nights post-cruise) will end up being as expensive as the entire cruise. Oh well, we figured if we're making the trip, we might as well extend it by a couple of days.

Sorry we won't get to meet you on the 5th. What cabin cat. did your guaranty give you (I)? Did you make cabin suggestions to RCI for the change or did they just offer other availability?

I saw a site offering the Marriott at Norwegian Kroner 1200,- which should be around 150 Euros.
The gty gave us a "I" cabin - we got allocated under the dining room but I called and they changed it for us. same cabin category but more forward.
We are still waiting for the price to go down on Balconies and suite - so If not we will ask to pay for an upgrade once onbaord. Last year on the Legend of the seas we could pay $600 to upgrade to a balcony. If its the same on the Vision it will work out better then booking a balcony with Royal Caribbean in Norway.
