I am glad you enjoyed your cruise and your time in Copenhagen.
It was our pleasure to meet all of you too.
Have you ever thought about taking the Adventure of the seas from Malaga??

Hi Lars and all!!
We arrived home very late last night (thanks to AirBerlin combining the two afternoon and evening flights into one, and guess whose flight was the one that was delayed by 3 hours??). We had two and a half wonderful days in Copenhagen following the short cruise on Vision.
Lars, similarly to you, we were very disappointed with the food and somewhat with the ship. We had been on Jewel in May for the TA and it was absolutely wonderful. I think one of the problems on this cruise was the enormous amount of children on board. Many of school age -- I wonder how they were free of classes? They were running all over the ship and, I think, very few took part in the planned children's activities. The buffet didn't offer very much variety, and was not kept very orderly (salad sauces splashed around and not cleaned often enough). It was almost impossible to find 2 seats together. We only went to the lunch buffet once and to the breakfast buffet once. The reservations for MyTimeDining also didn't work as well as on Jewel, since they allowed almost everyone to reserve a table for 7:30. We tried going a bit earlier and a bit later and still had to stand in line. Some work to be done on ironing out that problem. We had a great waiter at MTD and he was probably the same one you had -- Claudio, from Chile (he left at the end of our cruise for 10 weeks vacation). His assistant needs some more training, but Claudio made up for Loreano's inefficiency. Also, amazingly, NO hand sanitizers at the Aquarius Dining Room.
Our cabin (upgrade) was super -- 7098 -- 3 cabins from the centrum (and no problem with any noise from the centrum at all).
Bergen was rained out for us. We only stayed in the city about 2 hours and then came back to the ship drenched, although we had raincoats and umbrellas. Guess that means a return visit and the hope of better weather (Does the weather get better in Bergen??).
Geiranger was a dream. Garry, did you see us waving to you?? Perfect weather and we loved both the ship's excursion to Eagles' View, Mt. Dalsnibba and the Fjord Center as well as the Fjord boattrip that we booked online. A fantastic day
I think we've decided that short cruises are not for us -- 14 days is good and 28 even better![]()
Sharon

Sharon, we have determined that short cruises don't hold a candle to the longer ones! At least 10 days and preferably more.It is a different clientèle that cruise the shorter cruises.
I'm so glad that Geiranger was wonderful...and I'm sure Lars is happy for you, too!
Hi Sharon - welcome home
Our last cruise was also on a Radiance class (Brilliance of the seas) we had a Grand Suite and we loved it. To cruise on a Vision class which of course is an older ship is somewhat of an anticlimax.
We got JS 8526. It was under the Windjammer or right at the entrance of the Windjammer so we could hear lots of running from above. I would not have choosen this location if I got to choose myself
We didnt have as many children onboard as during your voyage, I am glad to say
I am thrilled you had such a fantastic day in Geiranger.
Short cruises are not my favorite either, I prefer them from 12 days upwards.
Having said that, we have booked the Vision of the seas for her 8 days Western Europe cruise in April next year. The itinerary is for us perfect. But we have 7 months to go so anything could happen![]()
