This is a difficult cruise to pack for as we have a lot of people that we have cruised with before and we have some special friends on this ship that we want to take care of so we are packing on the heavy side.
CATS ARE TAKEN CARE OF:
100 lbs of cat litter on the back porch
50 cans of their special cat food
10 cans of treats
Doris will come by twice a day to praise them, pet them, sooth their nerves, fluff their beds, change their litter box, feed them, listen to their complaints, and generally pacify them.
FISH:
Tank is cleaned, adequate fish food in stock, and they are counted and measured to make sure they are ok.
BIRD:
Cage cleaned, feathers fluffed, food and treats in stock, 2 new toys to occupy them.
All the animals know something is up. Ruth has been tripping over the cats ever since we got the suitcases down and they are generally a pain in the butt now. When we get back they will not talk to us for 4 days.
CHILDREAN NOTIFIED:
Called the kids and gave them emergency numbers to the ship and told them when we would return.
Thanked them for the cruise. Mary K asked "How much is this one costing me and Jimmy?"
You see the cruise does not cost Ruth and I anything. We take the money out of the kids trust funds.. When we return we send them a full accounting and a thank you note so they know that we appreciate them sending us on the cruise.

Clothes line to hang laundry out on the Verandah while in port.
Got it all packed into suitcases now the problem is how to get these into a Ford Explorer?? Have already called and reserved a U-Haul trailer for the trip to Tampa.
If you think this is bad think of what it will be like after she shops in all the ports and we try to pack to come home. Anyone got any ideas....
Room visits will be provided upon request if you don't believe all of this will fit into one cabin (I think it will).
