Have read the reports from those who sailed on her May 1 repositioning from Tampa to Vancouver. Not everything is done. Engines also died in the water for an hour 2nd day of the cruise. Finally got 1 engine going -- then she limped to Catagena and ended up being a day late going through the canal and as a result had to skip Costa Rica. Like us -- she also had to skip the Mexican ports -- so in 13 days they had only 3 ports. Lots of complaints. She ran over budget and issues like air conditioning, plumbing and engine problems were not addressed in the 5 weeks she was in dry dock. A crew of 47 workers stayed on tthe ship to complete the Resort Area. The Rotterdam already has her contracts signed for all these new SOE additions. But these SOE additions will not be done on the Ryndam, Statendam and Maasdam.

Wish that they had fixed the air conditioning and plumbing problems. They have been a black eye to what is otherwise a sweet ship.

In order to aqddress issues like air conditioning and plumbing and engines -- a ship has to be taken out of service for more than a few weeks.

Having only a couple of feet of water in the pool is going to attract children -- they will be using it as a wading pool.
