Thread: Veendam September 24, 2006 out of Vancouver

Just wondering if there is anyone out there boarding the MS Veendam in Vancouver in almost a year. September 24, 2006? We will be on her for only 4 day as the first part is a Northwest Coastal. We will get off in Los Angeles she will continue you to the Panamal Canal. We have booked a S Suite but it is only a guarantee because for those doing the Coastal we will not get first pick of suite and they will assigned based on those boarding in Los Angeles.

Hi. We're going to be joining you in LA. We will miss seeing you. :headbang2 We can't wait. The itinarary looks wonderful and we are so very excited. We are driving into LA on Wednesday and staying overnight at the Queen Mary.

Trisha, That is too bad we will miss each other. I wish I could stay on because I very badly would like to go thru the Canal but it is hard for me to be gone that long at one time. We will be doing a 10 day on the Zaandam November of 2006. Aussiegal from the other board is boarding with us in Vancouver and staying on thru the whole thing.

that's nice that you will meet a fellow CLFer. I just realized you must already be one the ship!!! Too cool.

Trisha, NO we are doing this cruise in 2006. We will be on the Oosterdam in 12 days though.

Hi Liz and Trisha,

We are boarding the Veendam in Vancouver and doing the 34 day cruise. I will get to meet both of you which will be great.

I have already booked the first part of our air to the U.S. We are using Qantas F.F. points and we have our flight from Melbourne to L.A. In four weeks time hopefully we will get the next part of the flight over - L.A. to Vancouver on A.A.

In November I will then book our flight home - it does take time if one is using F.F. but it is well worth it. We are going to have a 3 day stop over in San Francisco before the long flight across the Pacific.

Jennie, I think Trisha is on thisyears cruise on the Veendam. I sure you will like to hear from her when she returns since you will be doing the same next year

I'm back, I'm back and I wish I were in the Lido :headbang2 . Truly guys you have such an adventure in front of you. We actually saw real, live PINK dolphins in the Amazon river so beautiful. We saw so much and did so much that I can't process it all yet. And then we got crazy and booked the b2b and stayed on for 14 more day for the Carribean cruise. It was wonderful . Can't wait to answer all your questions.
