AKA "the Bestfriends cruise"

My best friend and I have been best friends since were were 16ish. She is currently lives in Michigan. Unfortunately, when there is not severe illness etc. we don't see each other but once a year if that though we still communicate daily. She has turned 50 and I will turn 50 soon, and I told her that I would skimp and save to take us on the best snorkeling cruise I could find. So I've booked this cruise, the first she and I have taken together since 2001 to celebrate our 5th decade !!

Be great to have others join us, it is a really wonderful S. Caribbean itinerary with Bonaire, Aruba, Barbados, Grenada, Dominica, Isla de Margarita and Grand Cayman !!!

Sounds like a great cruise Sher. If we get some more people to go, we can make it into a group booking. You might even be able to talk me into going.

This is the same cruise itinerary that I wrote about in my review. Many of my friends from our Veentastic Veendamer cruise will be coming along as well.

Gee -- we cancelled that cruise last October. Originally we booked that one and the seven day one (Nov 18).

The last I heard Judy (sail7seas) and Robert Marder are scheduled to be on that cruise. I don't know if they have changed their plans or not.

Yep I saw that. Be nice to finally get to meet her!!
We are in a veranda cabin though, not a suite, it's doubtful we will cross paths too much. It turns out Jim and Ruth as well as others that were on our 2005 Veendammers cruise will also be there. Really looking forward to seeing them again.

Hi Jim Good to see you posting I agree if people get irritated over that they must not be very fun people. Beside if I don't have anything on my door for a sailing I always hope someone else near me does so it helps me find my way back home

We generally take a suitcase to decorate. Come on down and we will decorate both of the doors.

Last year she actually took a Christmas tree (decorated) for the room.. ..Talk about fun packing something
