Has Anyone taken the tour of Vancouver offered by the cruiseline?

Has anyone taken the tour of Vancouver offered by the cruiseline? We had originally wanted to take this on our return from our cruise and so we booked flights later so we could do this but after 7 time changes by United we now leave at 12:55 which is too early to go but.... to our surprise we have vouchers to take it the morning of our cruise that came with the hotel package from HAL. Now while this is very nice it sounds like it could majorly effect our ritual of embarkation day. We like to be one of the first passengers on the ship. Has anyone ever taken this tour prior to boarding? How long does it take and at what time do they usually start. If it would start by 10 and get us back to the pier by Noon we might consider it other wise we will have to pass.

Lisa, 7 time changes by United! Thats crazy!

I've never taken it, though I've been tempted a few times. I've read through the description, and after having been to Vancouver a few times, I am not sure that the ship tour of driving around the city really does the city justice. I am just not sure its worth it. Vancouver is really one of those cities where you need to get out and experience it on your own. To be able to set foot in places and touch and feel and explore. Sure it looks pretty to drive by, but you just dont get much of a feel for the heart of the city.
