Has anyone stayed at the Fairmont Waterfront in Vancouver - Cruise Line Fans: Cruise Reviews and Chat From Real Cruisers

Has anyone stayed at the Fiarmont Waterfront at Canada Place in Vancouver? We had thought we were staying at the Pan Pacific but because we booked thru HAL they changed hotels on us. I have read pros and cons about this hotel but it does look to be as close as the Pan Pacific.

Lisa: we have stayed there twice: it is a great hotel, in OUR opinion! It is right across the street from the Pan Pacific. The beds and sheets are wonderful. The vanilla waffles are great! The Fairmont Waterfront is one of our favorite hotels. I wouldn't fret about it. Our experience with HAL is that they put people in very nice hotels-the Fairmont is one of the better ones.

Yep Lisa, I sure hope that you and Tom will follow in the footsteps of the Smiths, and the Jones, and find the Fairmont Waterfront to be an extraordinary hotel.

P.S. One word of warning....at 8:00pm they fire the cannon from Stanley Park. If you have a room facing Stanley Park you can definately hear it!! First time we were there I didn't know and thought someone was blowing stuff up!

I've stayed there. You will like it, it is a very nice hotel.
