Vancouver - Whistler New Train

Vancouver-Whistler New Train

In the paper today.
Rocky Mountaineer Vacations has a new train starting 1 MAY 2006

North Vancouver to Whistler return: O830 Northbound 230 PM starts return.
9 car 220 pax train 2 class of fares. $99 one way to $289 return
2 dome cars and meals available

There is also a train that continues north with the same equipment that goes on to Jasper Ab. with overnight stay in Quesnel, BC (not likley to be a highlite )

Rocky Mountaineer is a well know company and has real equipment.

Yesterday my wife and I had a superb day on the train. The organisation was spot on, the friendly service and quality of food and beverages excellent. Scenery stunning, although a little pricey, a day I would recommend to anyone. Any questions, let me know.
