    Blackpool, Lancashire, UK.

If you love ballroom dancing then a visit to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom is a must.

The trams are being upgraded and replaced with more modern ones. I am sure they will still have some older ones about.

I know, the rail division of the company I work for ( Bombardier Aerospace) is making the new ones. I hope they keep some of the old ones though for nostalgia/historical purposes.

I used to enjoy going to Fleetwood to see the ferries, but they are no long running It's still a nice place for a day out though.

Haven't been to Blackpool for years, think Reginald Dixon was playing the Tower Organ then. He died in 1985

St Annes on Sea is very nice. Fleetwood I have been to the Isle of Man for a day trip on the ferry. I have also flown a few times from Squires Gate Airport to the Isle of Man, mainly on Dakotas (DC3) aircraft many years ago.

It was only recently that I learned the Isle of Man is a completely separate country.
