The parade takes place on the esplanade with a view of ELIZABETH CASTLE, with the tide out

floats are all made with fresh flowers, put on my hand two or three days before event working late into the night. floats leave early in the morning from each Parish to travel to the Esplanade. Children fro each Parish also design and make their own floats. It takes all year and a great community event.
The winning top award went to ST CLEMENTS for ALICE IN WONDERLAND float
this represents the island of Jersey with surf, condor highspeed ferries, airport and Durrel Wild Life Conservation
Friday the 12th aug is the MOONLIGHT PARADE when the floats go along the Avenue again but lit up and lots more music, everyone letting their hair down. Ending with a big fireworks display
