Quite right Neal - wouldn't have missed the crossing for the world.
We don't usually do ship tours, but The Eden Project from Plymouth was irresistable. We have talked about doing this for several years, but its a drag from London. It was a great day out - I would recommend it if anyone is in the area. Fortunately, the end of April is still low season, so it wasn't toooooo busy.
We were very spoilt by some of the personnel on board - so nice to us. A wonderful chef named Ludwig - from France!!! Yes, I couldn't believe it either!!
Sue Yates, the Guest Services Manager is very efficient and personable and her lovely sister was also on board.
Greta, Captain Bang's sister and her new (1 year) husband Gerry were also on board. Surprised to see them on the Brilliance though. Greta always puts us all to shame with her blonde elegance. Lots of old and new friends in the Concierge Lounge. Katherine was not a popular Concierge - can only hope that a break will help her to regain her enthusiasm for the job.
The weather this Bank Holiday weekend looks set to be rather nice. Hope next weekend is nice, as it is the Royal Windsor Horse Show and my wonderful Connemara pony will be competing there. Always a great day out - even in the pouring rain - and it usually does rain for Windsor!!!
