I am so jealous. I miss cruiseing to (or even from) England.

Quite right Neal - wouldn't have missed the crossing for the world.

We don't usually do ship tours, but The Eden Project from Plymouth was irresistable. We have talked about doing this for several years, but its a drag from London. It was a great day out - I would recommend it if anyone is in the area. Fortunately, the end of April is still low season, so it wasn't toooooo busy.

We were very spoilt by some of the personnel on board - so nice to us. A wonderful chef named Ludwig - from France!!! Yes, I couldn't believe it either!!
Sue Yates, the Guest Services Manager is very efficient and personable and her lovely sister was also on board.

Greta, Captain Bang's sister and her new (1 year) husband Gerry were also on board. Surprised to see them on the Brilliance though. Greta always puts us all to shame with her blonde elegance. Lots of old and new friends in the Concierge Lounge. Katherine was not a popular Concierge - can only hope that a break will help her to regain her enthusiasm for the job.

The weather this Bank Holiday weekend looks set to be rather nice. Hope next weekend is nice, as it is the Royal Windsor Horse Show and my wonderful Connemara pony will be competing there. Always a great day out - even in the pouring rain - and it usually does rain for Windsor!!!

Hey Roz

Tell me...what is The Eden Project? I'm not familiar with that. Glad you went and had a good time.

Do you hat up for Windsor? If so, you must post a picture for all of us to see. Hope this year proves to be the exception and you have lovely weather instead of the rain.

We have had Katherine as a Concierge before (unless there is more than 1 Katherine.) Wouldn't let us take our drinkies out of the lounge. I learned how to get them out though

When are you going to look at property in Mallorca? (did I spell that right? It doesn't look right somehow) Or do you already have something lined up?

Eden Project is an eco 'thingy' built at the bottom of a chalk pit. Huge biomes - one tropical rainforest and the other Mediterannean climate. To get an idea, google it. Difficult to explain - become a top English attraction.

No, we don't hat up for Windsor. The Queen arrives in her tweeds usually!! Forecast good for Windsor for once!! I will look reasonably well-dressed this year as I am only on onlooker and not actually doing any of the work - how very nice!!!

Only one Katherine I should imagine!! So moody!!

Going to Mallorca in June I hope. We shall see. Nothing lined up at all!!

I STILL MISS ENGLAND! (I gotta get back there, we just met someone who spent two years in London and the countryside and spent four hours talking about how great the place is.)

So, where were you and what were you doing? My daughter's boyfriend is currently in Kenya doing a mining project so I really know how one has to go where the jobs are (BTW, my daughter just moved out there to be with him)
