While skimming through this thread, there is a lot of tips about getting to Harwich, but our Baltic cruise in May leaves out of Dover. Anyone out there with any tips about transport from London to Dover?

THe Train service from London to Harwich departs from Liverpool Street. The rail service provider is One Railway ( British Rail no longer exists).

As regards the London Tube all but a very few stations have escalotors or lifts. However with luggage I myself would prefer a different kind of transportation. If you don't by a London Pass you can buy a one day travel card which will allow you to travel on the tubes, buses, tramlink, Dockland railways, National rail (within London) and 1/3 off Riverboat services. And to add to John's statement, if you go to http://www.londonpass.com you can get the travel pass and the London Card in advance of your trip.
