Thread: McClean's Tours

Has anyone used McLean's Tours in Tortola? They offer a 2 hour afternoon tour (no beach) which is just what we are looking for but I was wondering about their reputation.
Anyone know?

I haven't heard of them, but why take a tour? Why not just take a taxi and do your own thing on your own time?

Another option is to take a water taxi to Virgin Gorda and visit The Baths.

I haven't been to Tortola, but if there is time for you to go to Virgin Gorda to see the Baths, I think it would be worth it. It is one of the top attractions in the Virgin Islands, if not the Caribbean. Here is a picture:

Thanks Pete and Princess but I'm afraid the Baths much too strenuous for us. Should have done it 10 years ago!
As far as a taxi rather than a tour, our main concern would be cost. McClean is $25/pp for a 2 hour tour and I have no idea what a taxi would be so I have no basis for comparison. DH loves to meet people and the tour van holds 26 so I think that would appeal to him more than being stuck with just me for 2 hours.
Me, he gets enough of on a regular basis!

Pete, do you know anything about Apple bay?? My teen daughter thinks she wants to wind surf. . It was also suggested to check out smugglers cove.
