    Limited Mobility

DH and I have limited mobility and are non-swimmers so have decided that the Baths at Virgin Gorda are out for us. Please tempt us to get off of the ship in Tortola.

Can you describe your mobility issues? That can mean a million different things.

Even if you can't find anything better to do in a port, you still have activities on the ship!

First, to get from Tortolla to Virgin Gorda you have to take a water taxi. So, are you able to do this? If so, you won't want to go to The Baths at it would be difficult. However, you can still take a tour around the island and Virgin Gorda is a beautiful island!

Really depends on what you want to do, what you want to see, and how much you can get around or not.

Pete, we walk unassisted but cannot walk for long distances. I think the water taxi would be a great idea. Thanks.

Barb .... My aunt and uncle very much liked to go to Pusser's Landing which is on the West side of the island so you see some of the island getting there.

They would take an excursion through the ship called "North Shore & Pusser's Landing". Most cruise lines offer this. It's mostly riding on a bus which is sometimes a covered open air bus (they liked the open air bus) and viewing beautiful scenery. At the Pusser's Landing marina there were places to sit around when the wished.

It's a lovely island and would be a shame to stay on the ship.
