Patouche - Half Day to Virgin Gorda!

Patouche is NOW offering Half Day Excursions to Virgin Gorda!

Patouche is a long time and well respected independent in Tortola. Their excursions to The Baths are the easy way ... by water!

We did The Baths with them some years back but have never been able to to mesh with their excursion times since. The Half Day will make this possible!

John, if you go to the website, it explains your questions. Ours was too long ago for me to answer you correctly.

They offer some standard excursions that aren't really charters so you don't need to worry about getting enough people to go.

If you haven't been to The Baths, they are amazing! Glad to see that there is a way to get there from Tortola as an excursion. I want to see Tortola one day as well - I heard it is beautiful- but I think the Baths would be a higher priority.

NOTE: you need to be able to move easily to get around The Baths. You are walking on rocks and sand, and through water, so this is generally not for someone who has problems with their legs.

I have used Patouche and I just want to put out a word of caution if you are expecting to get to the Baths and the weather looks iffy the day you arrive in the BVI. Be sure to ask before you leave the dock if you will be indeed making it to the Baths. We liked them as far as the company...very nice people to deal with, really great crew, however we really had our hearts set on going to the Baths and didn't make it because of the winds and the weather. The ferries and ship excursion made it there albeit a rough ride, but because Patouche sails over, it didn't happen for us and we were not told until about 10 minutes into the sail. We snorkeled a few places to include Cooper Island and while we love snorkeling and it was among some of the best we have ever done, we have yet to make it to the Baths. Please just take it as a word of caution if you are looking to make it there.
