I don't know much about it, but someone told me to go to the Bamba Shack, and that it was not far, but a short taxi ride from Cane Bay.

    which one?

Forgive my confusion, but you folks mentioned taking the tour through the shio, specifically NCL. Since we are going on their ship which Virgin Gorda tour are you talking about? The NCL site lists: 1- Virgin Gorda Bahts & Snorkel; 2- Catamaran Cruise, along with other tours that may or may not hit the area.

There is shop that sells Caribbean spices - Sunny Caribee.

The few other shops that are there sell mostly local crafts.

KK - Do you happen to remember what kinds of local crafts were available?

Tortola is one of our very favorite stops...make sure you do some kind of snorkeling while you are there. The water is crystal clear and there is so much sea life to see! I wish you a very happy cruise and a wonderful time in Tortola!!
