    Tortola bar

My brother-in-law told me that there is a bar at Roadhouse, Tortola that has women's panties hanging from the ceiling. My DH has told me he will be going there to check it out. My brother-in-law said, "just tell someone to point you in the direction of the 'panties bar', they'll know what you mean." Anyone ever hear about it?

Found this from a review of Tortola, this may be it!!

The island's most famous character, Bomba, can be found tending bar and sometimes even sleeping over at the Bomba Shack, a funky beachfront bar made of junk, old license plates and autographed panties. Bomba is famous for his monthly ``Full Moon Party'' that draws patrons from as far as Miami and Venezuela.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Bob, you probably don't need directions - the island is small enough that if you got in a cab and asked for Bomba's shack, you would get there.

Here is a site with more info about Bomba, and there is a map of Tortola link there as well. And in case you want better instructions than on this page, there is a phone number for the Boat rental place, and they can tell you how to get there.

A girl I used to work with went there. She said it was absolutely wild! Not for those with a lot of inhibitions!
