Char, once at Brewer's Bay Beach, it's so very lovely and unspoiled! Unfortunately, the Getting There part is a problem for many..... Just make sure you're up for the bus ride.

Consider the Island Sailaway excursion which is great for anyone ... as long as you just stay on board (lots do) at the 45 minute snorkel stop. The other stop pulls up to a pier and there's a bar and beach area. Just sailing on this one is fantastic! It's our favorite in Tortola!

    Hello,
If anyone can recommend some great beaches not too crowded and perfect for snorkeling on Tortola and Antigua-we are a family of 4 (boys ages 11 and 15) sailing on the Carnival Freedom this August.(Hope for smooth seas!) We'd appreciate the help! It's our fist time on these islands.
We also sail to St.Thomas, Nassau, and San Juan. Any help would be appreciated. Also, if you have sailed on the Freedom I would love to hear about it!
    Thanks

Shell Lady .... Brewer's Bay Beach would be exactly what you want: Uncrowded with good snorkeling!

If your cruise line does not offer it as a shore excursion, you can alway just take a taxi. Do remember, to set a time for the taxi to return to take you back.

It's a hard place not to love!
