Terrilynn, add this to your store of information. REGARDLESS of what time the ship begins it's approach to Stockholm get out on deck and watch the sail-in thru the islands. Absolutely breathtaking! I should add that the sailaway back thru the islands with a sunset is equally great.

Oh Rick....I'm late...but THANK YOU for that advice! We scored that aft corner balcony on the Constellation, I think your advice will be well-taken!

I totally agree! I think sailing into Stockholm was one of the prettiest sights I have ever seen approaching a port. It reminded me a little of British Columbia with the islands and sailboats ...but Stockholm is bigger...and much more dramatic.

We're scheduled to disemabark at 10:00 am in Stockholm, so I think the early morning breakfast out on the balcony will be in order.

We're also set to depart at 6:00 pm and we're late seating so, I think we'll partake of a cocktail or two on the balcony as we leave.

We've set ourselves up for a tour of the city with a visit the ice bar at the Nordic Hotel. It's only 2 1/2 hours so I think we'll have a little "on our own" time afterward.

Thanks again!

When we went to Stockholm, we had a city pass, so we took off for the Folk Museum and the Skansen Open Air market...both admissions were included in the passes. We took a bus over (included) and could've stayed for much longer at the market, but we wanted to see so much! Then we took the bus over to the Royal Palace (again, admission was included) and toured the palace, the Royal Jewels and the Armory, which you don't want to miss!!!!
