Lulu, this is also my fave picture. I'm going to blow it up, frame it and hang it on my wall in the living room.
In St. Lucia we went on a tour of the island, which took us all the way to Soufriere (did not get out though). We visited Fond du Estate and some waterfalls (cannot remember their name). The tour was nice, we went up into the mountains and saw the lush foliage of the rain forest. My only complaint about this shore excursion is that it last 5 hours - I think the brochure said it was maybe 4 hours tops. We didn't have any time to do any shopping.
We are going back to St. Lucia on our cruise next February. Lulu, have you been there? If so, please provide suggestions on what we can do the 2nd time around. Thanks.

We loved the Rain Forest!
Don't miss the volcano...
And Marigot Bay is fairly nice, but probably if I needed to skip something that would be it - the snorkeling there just wasn't teriffic.
However - did see THIS at Marigot Bay, which I thought was pretty neat. A banana vendor:

Great pic. I loved St Lucia. We did a general island tour in am when there in 2001 and a beach in the pm. I think the harbor area is one of the prettiest ones I've seen. We are going back on the Sun in Jan 2007. This time I want to do a tour to the Pitons.
