We depart Fremantle, then Geraldton (probably won't get off there) then five sea days, Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore then five sea days back to Frenantle. It is really perfect for me as I love the sea days and I got really tired on the last one with ten ports all in a row!

We have just booked for this cruise...will be my second with princess...sailed on the Diamond in November last year and loved it....

That's wonderful. This will be my third Pincess Cruise but this time instead of family I'm taking a friend who's never cruised before. Have you been to Perth before?

Have only been to Perth on business...never pleasure....not sure we will see much of it this time either as we have booked the air through Princess lines so not sure of our flight detail yet
Have you been on the Sun Princess before...my sister has and had a great time

I was on the Sun in January 2008 for 14 days around New Zealand from Sydney. We flew in on the morning of the cruise on the midnight flight from Perth. It was a horrible uncomfortable flight on Virgin Blue. When we oringinally booked (we used Princess Air) the flight was with Qantas and left Perth about 6.30 I think. We paid $660 each for the air fare but we thought that it was safer to book through Princess.

When we got our tickets the flight details had changed and to make things worse when I checked the cost of seats with Virgin Blue on the midnight flight was $440!

Of course because of the fine print we couldn't get any money back so it was not a great start to an otherwise fantastic holiday.

I'll never book Princess Air again.
