Now have our cabin number just waiting for the paperwork. Can't believe its next month. The ship is fully booked. No flying just a 30 minute drive to the port. Life is good!!!

Looks like our itinery has changed. We may skip Phuket and stay overnight in Singapore. As the day we arive in a special national day we should definately get to see the fireworks and celebrations.

My brother and his wife have just come back from the same cruise and he lost $3,500 at the casino

    Hey Julie!

    The fireworks should e spectacular!

    Oh dear...lost $3,500!
He could have book another cruise with that!
What was he playing?...slots...table games?....card games?....or a combination of all of them?

Other than the casino loss, how did they enjoy their cruise? Did he have any suggestions for your ports?

Sorry about the delay in replying. Life's been difficult of late but all good now.

He played roulette. Just sticks with one number all night. How boring! My brother married late in life - no kids, he works for a large mining company (Not BP lol). He obviously gets paid too much! Pity he doesn't share his wealth with his little sister

He has already booked his next cruise for December. He gambles, his wife shops. They're happy and thats what counts

To be happy and love each other that's the most important

If the ship goes where you want to go when you want to go, then go.

Just got an email from Princess asking if I would be interested in changing my July cruise from my home port to a cruise that leaves in the 4 October from Beijing to Singpore. They pay for the airfares, it's one night less and its the same cabin category. Apparently the cruise I've booked has proved very popular indeed.

I think your current itinerary is very unique., and that is why it is so popular. The other itinerary is probably similar to other cruise lines. What are you going to do?

My cruise goes from, my home port, Fremantle to Geraldton, Phuket, Langkawi, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and then back to Fremantle.

I don't know what the itinerary is for the other.

I won't be taking up the offer for so many reasons such as:

No flying involved so I can take as much luggage as I want
It's only just over two weeks away
The other cruise is one day less, leaves on the 4 October and my son turns 21 on the 17 October and I wouldn't want to miss that!

    Julie
