    Sun Princess Christmas cruise

Is anyone going on the SUn Princess leaving the 20th from Miami? Also, has anyone recently been on the Sun Princess and would you have any advice about this ship the ports or anything at all? Thanks!

    Betty45-
    Welcome to CLF!!
Even if there aren't folks here that are cruising with you, if you let us know what ports you will be cruising to, we can give you great information, as collectively we have covered most of the islands!!
We are cruising on the 23rd out of FLL on the Volendam. Have you done a Christmas cruise before???
Also, I would suggest you post this in the Princess Section of CLF under roll calls:

We are going to Antiqua, St. Thomas, St. Martin and St. Lucia along with their private island. Do you know an inexpensive way to get from the Miami airport to the cruise terminal? Are there bus transports waiting there at the airport that you can purchase a ride with to the cruise terminal?

How exciting, your leaving soooooo soooon. I can't give you any advice seeing as I'm making my 1st trip to those islands in April, but you can give me some when you return. Have a fabulous time, we'll be thinking of you. I watch the weather on those islands and its balmy and warm.

Welcome! First of all you're leaving from Fort Lauderdale not Miami you don't want to get those confused since they are 2 different home ports. I was on the Sun in July. She's a great ship I hope you enjoy her. Make sure you eat at the pizzaria. I love that place.

Your ports Princess Cays, St Thomas, Martinique, Grenada, St Lucia, and Antigua.
St Thomas and Granada and St Lucia are great places for the beach but are also good so island tours if you have never been there before.

As for transfers. It's about a 30 minute cab ride from Miami to FLL so a cab is gonna be a little pricey and I think it's too late to sign up for Princess transfers. But you may want to call Princess now to see if you can get a transfer.
