We had a great lunch, I think it was called Mongolian Barbeque. Then we went to Herbergers for some shopping. Jan bought, I didn't. On our way back to Jans, her car just clunked out. I haven't heard yet what was wrong, had it towed to a garage. I think it might be the transmission,
As far as frubals, it's just a fun game to see how many you can get. It is also used to give to someone whose post you enjoyed. They have no $$$$ amount,
I know it is in the midst of summer but we must be prepared for our cruises. After all, can you think of a better escape from Winter Wonder Land in January than the Caribbean? Even those that are deprived of the brisk winter air can enjoy the warm air on the high seas. So come on board, join us, have some fun.
Carol – our fellow cruisers are too active during the summer to be thinking about winter time activities. We are conditioned to be aware of winter and what it can bring the year around.

Went to see my TA today and booked a Baltic cruise on the Star for Sept 9 2007. Jan will be doing Alaska, Karen and I have already been there and really wanted to do the Baltic.....so only 400 and some days till we go,
I talked to Jan today, unfortunately it was her transmission that went out. Guess the shop is behind so it will take a couple weeks. I don't know which is worse the inconvienence of being without a car or the big $$$$$
I posted on CC inviting them all over here so we could build up our roll call. Sure hope they will come.
Carol – I did provide another clue on how others could find CLF. There apparently is something wrong with CLF’s listing that prevents it from coming up on a standard search. CLF needs to contact their web provider or designer. The graphic format for their heading would not be picked up in a search. :think:
Any roll call for this particular cruise does not seem to be active at present. I’m sure as time gets nearer, there will be more participants.
Your Baltic cruise; well this know-it-all from the other side of the river will probably give you some extensive hints. It you check the other roll call you can already find my comments for your first day in St. Petersburg.
I do not know what your interest or criteria is for places you stay or what you see, but I should be able to offer hints for Copenhagen. As far as the cruise goes, both Ruth and I could probably offer different perspectives of the various ports. Something to talk about on our Caribbean cruise.

Other than the identification “M-1” I could not verify it was first, thus I would not post it. Also, are you receptive to risqué stories or one that describes a woman’s features in other definitions?
Our obstructed ocean view was great; the viewing point happened to be between two lifeboats. It was narrow but we could still see everything and the sunshine was delightful.
Was not prepared for maintenance crew as they journeyed over the lifeboats… the first shadow startled me as those legs went by.
As much as I enjoy the morning sunshine, my travel allowance does not permit it on a regular basis. And I spend very little time in the cabin so OV is not a priority.
Betty, are you talking about an email I sent you? I don't have time or the desire to verify facts, I just read em and send em.
As fare as risque is concerned.....I'm a nurse, I could care less and nothing much surprises me. I am not easily offended. I like stories!
Never thought the crew may pass by the window in OV, Im not real modest, they might get an eyefull of a short, plump, old lady, As long as I don't see them looking at me I really could care less.
I have done 2 with inside rooms and they really bother me...all closed in and you can't see what is going on outside until you dress and leave the room. Even though I don't spend a lot of time in the room, when I was there I felt like I was in prison. My slight claustraphobia sets in. I don't even like where I work right now in a basement with no windows, For me no outside window, no cruise.
Carol – Think we will every get an active group anyplace? Everybody must be too involved with their summer time activities and to busy to think about winter cruises.
Relax, I never noticed any of the passer-bys bend down and peek in our window. Guess maybe our shifted assets were not of any interest to them. Matter of fact, none of them even stumbled; they just zoomed past.
I am hoping that we have finally trained our neighbors in a group fireworks display. Last year we did have others participating and it made a longer and more impressive display of fireworks.
Glad you enjoyed my little story. You will have to admit that it is not the type one sends to strangers.
Can't believe it's been a couple days since I have been on line! Where did the time go??? Both hubby and I worked yesterday so had no special celebrating planned. We went to bingo last night and my name was called for the 25 lb salted nut roll. it was just huge and very heavy. I cut it up and we both took some to work. Co workers seem to be enjoying it.
Sure would be nice if those others would come post over here. We need more action!
Can you believe how dry it is around here? Some areas of my lawn are getting brown. I am just trying to keep the gardens watered, but it ain't easy!
