well it is more about as they say Location Location Location.. The Davie property was nice even though it was just back from Wilma... I think Wilma + 3 days..So this booking is based on that stay..Mind you not the same property but still the brand is the same.
Yesterday I also booked Comfort Suites with the idea that if ValueTrips comes out with great 2007 pricing in October for Amerisuites. And if my date in January is not blacked out I will make the change. I agree Joey it is all about location, location, location and the two hotels are both in the same great area. Bur if I can save $50 I will jump ship. Maybe you would consider it too. We stayed at Amerisuites in January and thought it was just great for the money. Now my only task is to come up with what I want to see during our two day stay in LA. Only thing I know for sure is I have to walk down Rodao Drive.

Ok Joey I know this place will not be anything like the Ritz but the price is right. Have you heard anything about the Crowne Plaza Beverley Hills. The price is $149 per night. The reviews on Trip Advisor don't seem too bad.
Joey I don't want to put you to all that trouble. I read the reviews on Trip Adviser aand although there are a couple of people who say that the place is a slum the rest speak highly of it. One of the complaints was that the area was not safe but most came back with that was not the case. As it is Hugh and I will not be roaming around at night anyway. Seemingly you can walk to Rodeo Drive and there is good public transportation close by and I am sure tour buses that we can take. If you have time go over to Trip Advisor and read the reviews but don't drive all that way to look at the hotel. You are just too kind!

Joey the address is 1150 S. Beverly Drive. It is within walking distance of Rodeo Drive. Now a friend has already told me that Rodeo Drive is nothing but a few overpriced, expensive stores. Still I HAVE to walk down it, LOL! Also, it is supposed to be close to public transport which is important as we will not bother hiring a car.
