Two couples going on this cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles..anyone else?

Hi Joey don't get excited it's only me. I see that 8 people have signed up on cruise connections. Maybe we will pick up some more in here.

In a couple of weeks we will be able to book my airfare from LAX to MB. I see it now for $175 total pp. I looked again at the cost of flying one way from MB to Ft Lauderdale and the cheapest I could see was $127 pp so we will definitely be hiring a car. I can't say I am looking forward to that 13 hour drive but we will stop over to break up the trip.

Oh and I forgot to mention the plane goes from MB to Miami not Ft Lauderdale so we would have the hassle of finding a way to the port. Jean

well nows the time to look at that east coast map and see where you may want to spend the night..Personally I have always wanted to see st Augustine..(just south of JAX).. but where ever you guys stay.. I am sure it will only add to the excitement..$127 sounds really good we paid 149 lax to FLL before tax of course ours is a direct flight.. something that i guess MB doesnt offer yet from LAX..Jean the excitment is building!!!!!!!

David $127 may sound good to you but we would have to fly from MB to Atlanta and from Atlanta to Miami. Actually $175 LAX to MB sounds a lot better value to us and we would do that trip in less time. Ok enough complaining. We will probably stay in Ft Pierce on the way down that way we will only have a short ride the next morning. That is unless we make the trip in 2 days and stay at St Augustine. We have lots of time to make up our minds. I think I will start researching hotels although if we stop in Ft Pierce we probably won't even bother booking anything just find a place that is on or near the highway.
