I will be cruising aboard the Celebrity Summit on the 14-Night Transatlantic Cruise from 28-Nov-2009 to 12-Dec-2009. This will be my first transatlantic cruise and I am looking forward to learning about the ports and meeting some on you on cruiselinefans.com.

What a coincendence...I'm on the Summit transatlantic leaving on Saturday heading over to Barcelona! At which ports will your westbound TA call?

Barcelona, Spain
Provence(Marseilles), France
Palma De Mallorca, Spain
Valencia, Spain
Malaga, Spain
Agadir, Morocco
Tenerife, Canary Islands
Puerto Rico

I can hardly wait! Looking forward to meeting a few friends along the way.

Do you have anything scheduled for your stop in Agadir, Morocco? There were 11 of us who used a private tour company there and it was better than any tour that Celebrity offered. I don't know what your schedule is for that port, but ours was 7AM till 10PM and we had the air conditioned minibus with driver/guide for 10 hours. We went into the Anti Atlas mountains to Tafraoute and then to Tiznit. Fabulous! And it was only about $52 per person! If you are interested I can give you the information on the company.

Please share the information with me. We will be in port for the same duration of time. I will be traveling thus far with only one friend. The other two friends have not booked the cruise yet as they are busy vacationing now and cannot make a decision that far in advance. I think they will eventually book and we are looking for fun things to do. Morocco was a deciding factor on the itinerary for me. This is my first TA cruise. Thanks!!

There are many options available. As you get closer in it's possible that the company could put you in with another group of people from your ship if you haven't got a big enough group on your own.

Payment was thru PayPal in British Pounds. The main office of the company is in England. PayPal automatically converts the pounds to our US dollars for the receipt. It was very easy and smooth.
