Question Statendam Tour12 Denali Adventure & Discovery Cruise

OK I have decided that not very many people have gone on the Statendam from Seward Alaska to Vancouver I have been in the video area of the website, I can't believe there are no picture's of the ship or Alaska in Fairbanks, Denali, or Anchorage, or even picture's of the McKinley Explorer. Believe me I'm going to take picture's of my trip and I will put them on line. So people can see where they are goingif they are going on the same trip.
I already have done my early check-in on line and I need for someone to tell me why HAL puts a hold on our Credit Cards. What is the deal with that? Never had that on RCCL. I need to know what I need to do so I can buy things in port and the CC isn't on hold. Sing It Baby

I Love to Cruise and see the world,
I like having some one else make my bed and clean the bathroom, Do the laundry, and make dinner.
And serve me drinks by the pool. I feel like I'm the Queen for a week.

    Kateri-
HAL will put a hold on $60 per person per day on your credit card to insure you can cover your bill at the end of the cruise. I deal with the situation generally by using my AMEX which theoretically has no limit.

My DH and I did cruise from Vancouver to Seward and then took the Double Denali trip in 2003. I would love to show you the pictures but they were lost when my computer crashed....

I am sure you are going the better way, that is doing the land portion then then ship, as the ship is more restful and a better end to your vacation.

Let me know if you have any questions, I have been away on a fishing trip with my boys.

hope you had a good trip fishing. I think I read in one of your post you were going fishing. Thanks I did talk to my travel agent today to find out about this CC thing. I did make a post about it. I also thought as you did on doing the land tours first and then the ship I knew we would want to rest before coming back home it a long trip. And I'm sorry you lost your picture's I'll take my picture's of Denali and Fairbacks, Anchorage if that where you went and I'll send them to you if you'd like.
