I think the thinkg that is the MOST puzzling in all of this is the reactioin (or lack thereof) on the part of those who will be sailing on this itinerary.
I made a reservation on this ship one month before the MS accident in November.
I could not cancel because I did not have cancellation insurance. Since I have read all the articles about the accident and warnings like your postings, I am so so worried. I asked princess cruise customer service and they did not answer.
What am I gonna do?

This close to the sailing date there is not much you can do. Even if you had purchased the insurance, policies usually do not cover "changing you mind"

I understand how you feel, but there's only one thing you're gonna do, it's pray hard and go on the cruise, keep praying while on the cruise, that is all you need. We'll see you posting after the cruise and you'll tell us all about the prayers and cruise. Fear not, you'll be fine.

If a cruiser has a legitimate concern, it seems to me it would make sense to at least try to alleviate those fears with a note of assurance.

They probably don't have a canned response for this concern yet. Anyone who got the query would not be able to respond on their own to THAT question!
