Star Princess Repairs at Lloyd Werft

You can find a picture and details of the repairs being carried out on the Star Princess at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany at the following site:

Thanks for the link! Is there any updated photos out there with what the Star looks like now since it's due to be completed this week.

I haven't seen any recent pictures of the ship during its repair. Lloyd Werft only recently updated their website and added the pictures of the Star and its commentary on the repair work. I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything.

Thanks Cruise Princess. It's amazing how quickly they are getting the work done. The ship is supposed to be in service for its May 15th sailing.

Looking at the photos taken 2 days ago, it doesn't look as if the balconies have been started yet. The workers are still using scaffolding outside the patio doors. Assuming that the balconies are started this week, it really is looking tight for a 15th May release back to service, just 6 days to get all the balconies in place and any finishing touches/safety tests etc to be done and have her repositioned to Copenhagen ready for her first cruise.

Very tight on timing by the looks of things.

OMG They are almost done! The pics were updated yesterday and you see men walking on the new balconies. All there needs to be done on the outside is finishing up the blue "glass" and the seperators between cabins balcs. I wonder how the insides are coming along.
