I think the method is called..... they know what they are doing.
I know from a reliable source that a lot of work was being done on the Star and construction of staterooms began in Germany while she was enroute.
There was 7 weeks between the fire and the Star setting sail again. Even allowing for days to investigate, there's still 6 weeks. To us it seems fast; to the people working on her, I'd bet it was 6 very long weeks.
