Thread: Who has sailed on STAR Princess?

My wife and I and another couple sailed on her 2 weeks ago. I think she is an absolutely gorgeous ship. It was shocking to read the story about her catching fire. Actually, it is a little surreal. We had such a wonderful time on our cruise. I wonder how long it will take to repair her. the damage looks extensive!

Yes, he is a sweatheart and also very funny. We had such a good time dining with him and our laughter was heard all throughout the restuarant.

We were on the Star Valentine's Week in 2003. Someone who worked for my hubby at the time was dating a Princess employee in the Santa Clarita office and told him we can get an employee rate through him. It cost us about $750 total for the three of us! As long as we were able to go in a couple of weeks. BTW that employee and his gf got married on the Diamond in June 2004.

We were on the Plaza deck -- a cheapie inside cabin.
