Thread: Star Princess Roll Call - Rio De Janerio to San Francisco Feb 18 2012

Any other CLF'ers going on the Rio to SFO 30 day cruise leaving on Feb. 18, 2012 or those only going from Rio to Valparaiso ..... all welcome to join in.

You should think about it......I think it's going to be pretty awesome. As booked up as the ship is already I'm surprised no one had posted a roll call. Martha has us wait listed for starboard side. This is the right spot to have put the roll call isn't it? You know you can also just do from Rio to Valparaiso too.

Sally, how exciting! Must be a very popular cruise if the all starboard cabins are already gone!

Would be fun.... My daughter is in Argentina right now and it would give us an excuse to see her..... But it is not in our budget for next year. We still want to do Alaska. or a TA.

You'll love Alaska, especially coming from the Southwest it looks so different. We did it as a multi-generational family cruise ages 5 through 86 (8 of us) and it was a hoot. We loved it and it didn't look that different from what we see all the time (well maybe we don't see glacier's every day but you get my drift.) So I'm not up on what a TA is?

I'm a bit nervous to find out that Rio's Carnival is starting Feb17th and so that means crowds and probably more expensive airfare and hotels. Not big on crowds. But since we sail on the 18th maybe we'll miss most of that.

You really should visit your daughter while she is in Argentina......that's too good to miss.

Doesn't the patch help for that? Say are those cigs WW approved???? (I'll never learn will I to keep these fingers quiet .....but you know I'm kidding.) We all have our vices mine just happens to be CHOCOLATE. which is much easier to come by on a plane and shows up a lot more on the old backsides.

TA = transatlantic. I want to see England again.

Okay, Transatlantic -TA makes sense. I want to do the repositioning cruise from West Coast to New Zealand someday. I just think how fabulous that would be instead of that awful flight to NZ that we make twice yearly. We are going to spend next Christmas in New Zealand with our daughter and her family and I was wondering about just flying from there to Rio instead of having to come home and then fly to Rio.....will have to look into that.
