Deb hates flying so we have definitely thought about taking cruises to get to our destinations a few tines. Unfortunately there is the time element.

There is a giant list of people over on the CC site. I'm a bit surprised that we haven't had any one here yet. I signed up on it but people pretty much ignored my questions and introduction so guess I'm not one of the "in group" there (I'm not exactly sure where I've ever been one of the "in group".) oh, well there loss right. So I'll just have to talk to myself and you and Hanna when you check in Neal.

Checking in! Wish there was some way you could bring the other "out" people over here, Sally. It would be a fun discussion.

Yes perhaps after I've been on a bit longer I can do like Hanna and invite some people to come over here to chatter a bit more. Lots of organizing tours at the moment and finally someone answered a question so I atleast don't feel invisible any more so there is hope. Sounds like a number of them know each other and quite a few are from some previous cruise to South America that Princess cancelled. Which explains why the cruise is so booked this far out.

Sally, sounds like when I joined with the Night Owls for their TA. They all knew each other. I just barged in......

Sally, we had a lot of people who signed up for the Meet & Mingle for our Oasis cruiss on the DS and not even half of them showed up. It wasn't much of a M&M either. One of the cruise director's assistant showed and just held the raffling of prizes. There were actually decent prizes but we didn't win anything this time. They only served the basic beverages and pastries, no appetizers. There were no introductions of any kind and it lasted less than 30 mins with us just chatting with the people who sat next to us. It was a big disappointment and others felt the same way.

You are definitely in the "in group" with us here!!! We'll keep you company here until you lure some fellow passengers over here. It'll be so exciting to hear about your excursion plans. We haven't planned a thing for our New England cruise yet. We still need to research for our Branson trip in May and our Glacier Park trip in June.

That's too bad about your M&M being so lame Janice. Kind of makes you wonder why people bother to post if they aren't going to follow through and attend. Maybe there was just too much happening on that big ship for a M&M to draw the crowd.

So far they are really coming up with some great tours and stuff on the DS. I'm especially looking forward to the one in the Falklands that takes us for 2 hour 4 wheel drive out to some point where there are lots of penguins.

I just wish the group didn't seem quite so cliquish our Roll call for Radiance was on the DS was a like old home week compared to this group. Of course nothing was as nice or fun as our group here on CLF was and still is. I don't expect to duplicate that again.

I meant to ask if your going to drive up to Glacier Janice or are you guys flying? Love to have you stay if you end up passing though our way.

Sally, what a nice offer and we sure we could take you up on it someday in the near future. We rarely drive to any long distance destinations anymore. Time is money to us so we're flying to Spokane then driving over to the timeshare in Whitefish. Dave's parents have decided to ditch us on this trip and have opted to housesit and catsit for their DGS's girlfriend's family while they're on vacation in Paris. So it'll be just the 2 of us which means we'll get to do more.

I think you're right that it'll be hard to beat our wonderful roll call for the Radiance here on CLF. There's hardly anybody on the roll call on the DS for my New England cruise in Sept.

It would be nice if the cruise lines were to advertise the boards that have M&Ms for the various cruises. Hey, it would probably increase their popularity.
