    Hi Lars & Linda

I am sitting in my new dining room with DSL access, phone service and satellite TV

Linda, it is the same house. It only took us 14 months for everything to work out where we're finally here

What a fiasco moving is/was. Our movers arrived an hour early, which was good because we got a jump on everything, but bad when you're packing up some of the china cabinet and the movers are lifting chairs over you Complete chaos is all I can remember about Thursday and it started at 7:45 am

Our buyer was a little difficult, we left the surround sound system and all the window treatments even though that's not common and I thought I was being nice about that especially since I know how much I paid for all those things, moved our date up to accommodate her schedule (after she picked the date, not me, I'd like to add! ) and worked with them to leave our house in the middle of packing Wednesday night so they could have not one but TWO final walk-throughs and she had the nerve to complain to my realtor that I didn't wipe out my empty refrigerator?!? Our realtor and Mike were trying not to tell me this until after settlement so I wouldn't jump over the table and clock her, but one of them let it slip. Needless to say I had a bit of an attitude while at settlement

    Friday's settlement was a breeze

Lars, I hope you behaved just a little

Linda, I'm sorry you didn't win the lottery. We have some tickets also, my SIL works in Jersey and has been picking us up some and my niece (her daughter) has a place in Wildwood and was heading there yesterday and was picking up some tickets for us too.

Your DD and SIL's trip sounds wonderful!

Wow, you and Art are booked too! I guess we all needed a cruise fix bad I hope you have a great time on your cruise!

I just wish I could sleep longer than 6 hours/night
Maybe when we get on AOS I can catch up on my sleep?

6 hours is not good Judy. I also hope you get some good quality sleep time on the AOS. I suppose you are packed for it?

I think I need 7 or 8 after all this physical moving activity
This morning I woke up to big metal things being moved from our attic since the metal guy that Mike knows was here

We inherited some strange things in this house, one of them we think was some sort of naval navigational equipment thing that looked like it was from the 60's. I also had an old ringer washing machine. There is more stuff in the basement but what's left now is mostly wood since the metal guy filled his truck from the stuff here today.

I'm currently over-packed for the AOS cruise. My suitcases are down my work, I didn't want the things in them to get mixed up or misplaced by the movers or anyone else so I left them down there and plan to bring them here and repack one night this week.

HI Judy You are in your new house. How fantastic!!!
Moving is never fun, always lots of extra chaos going on.
I would have the new buyer also if I had known before hand what she had said But now the papers are signed and as soon as the money is in your account go and tell her to _________________

Both of you better catch up on some sleep during your AOS trip. I think it will be good to be away for a week. I am of sure looking forward to it

    Me behaved...I think I did

The refurb of the Myren/Ramirez house starteded yesterday at 2pm!!!!!
The carpenter arrived and started to knock down a wall and put another one up to make a nice 1 bed apartment for my dad downstairs. He now had a nice large kitchen, a ok size bedroom and the lounge is big
My dad is very happy and wants to move down asap - He has to wait until after the cruise

    Linda, for the next lottery

    Hi Lars and Judy

Congratulations Judy on your new house!!! It sure is a beauty as I remember and had such a large lot!! I am sure you will love it there. Your buyer sounds like a pain though. Some people are so petty about such stupid things, and all you did for them...

Lars, it will be great to have your dad living with you. My sister and her husband moved in with my dad and they are very happy together. He has a girlfriend 95 who lives in Florida and he visits her a few times a year. Dad who is 88, is going to drive us to the port on Thursday. I can't believe I am not going to the airport!!

Am not packed yet. Am doing it slowly. Am not sure what to take as the temperatures are in the 60s and 70s. I guess I will skip the shorts and take capris instead. They have anytime dining and it is casual, so Art is not bringing a suit this time.

Are you both booked on the Star Princess for next year? We have sailed on the Star twice before. Once before the fire and once after. (I hope we didn't jinx it.) I do like the itinerary and would like to go to Egypt again. Art wants to go to Luxor.

Found out today my daughter lost he camera on the trip thru the fjords. Since they were with a group and were leaving, she was unable to go back to look for it. All of their photos were from her husbands older camera and not as clear. We bought her that camera last Christmas and it took such beautiful photos. She is not upset as she says the memories are what is important. Arnaldo and I would have been sick about it!!!

    Hi

Lars, I thought moving would be stressful and a lot of work, but honestly I had no idea the amount of chaos that happens, especially on moving day. We got to the point of dumping things into boxes and not caring if some of it got broken.

As for the buyer, I won't type what I said to Mike and our realtor It was difficult to shake her hand at the end of settlement and not pull her forward to tell her what I was really thinking We stopped back at the old house one last time before settlement to check our mailbox and it was very hard not to rip down the curtains I left In the end, I was behaved and am letting karma take care of everything

Lars, taking down the walls, Mike would approve I'm glad that your Dad likes the changes that are taking place and hope he and you will be happy with everything you're doing. Enjoy your cruise, renovating can be almost as stressful as moving! Especially when you get to bathrooms and kitchens.

You are very ready for your cruise Lars, you'll be on vacation, don't iron, just send those clothes out to be pressed while onboard the ship!
