You see, it was fantastic having a GS but I would book a cruise, as I have done now in a lesser category. I just NEED to be onboard a ship. For longer then 5-7 days cruises and also depending on where and when we are cruising I would go for a balcony. But I figured with 5 days it doesnt matter that much. We will be out of the cabin most of the time anyway.
The same applies to hotels. I dont book luxury hotels only for 1 night but for 2 its kinda nice.
Speaking of cruises and hotels, I havnt booked a hotel in Copenhagen yet. I have to ask about the staff discount, which is less then 1/2 price, when I am back at work.
Regarding cruises; this thread has now 740 posts and we havent even booked yet AND its 15 months to go until we sail

My Plan B is to just book the cruiseline's Whale & Dolphin excursion, so it's kind of the same thing, just maybe more people on it with a refundable deposit My feeling is that if they're not organized enough to do their part, I may not want to give them a nonrefundable deposit, even though it's only $20

I understand just wanting to be on the ship, the problem is that I'm spoiled

Its almost the same as the Star Princess cruise. But no Venice.
Venice is however a few hours train from Rome.

did I say it was around 120 cabins available?? Wrong, its around 200 cabins available!!! Guess its not selling so well. They should drop ther prices.
I booked it with RCI in Norway and the prices for balconies and up are quiet dare for only a 5 nighter.

It's official, we sold our house and now I'm just waiting for all the paperwork processing on the new place. I can't see any issues really, we're way below the required ratios and whatnot on the financial end

I've been so busy since I left work today! We had non-stop friends stopping by, as some were getting ready to leave, others would arrive and lots of phone calls too. I swear there was a revolving door installed when we weren't looking! It was great to see everyone, but I am so tired now!

I don't think it has really hit me yet, maybe because I'm thinking, oh crap I have 3 weeks to pack!

Its very daunting to having tp pack a whole house but its amazing how fast it goes. Remember this is your big chance to do some serious clearout.

A gty is more expensive then a D1 and D2 cabin!!! I dont get it.

Suite gty 13638
JS and above start at 14058 and up to 19901.

A suite gty is only 600 and something more expensive then a balcony gty.
How do they expect to sell balcony gtys and balconie when the suite gty is so inexpensive??? and who books a balcony gty when the D1 and D2 costs less???

I have no idea where I am going with this but you see the point right??
