I'm taking a quick break and checking in. The fence guy called to see if we could meet earlier, I said sure! My feeling is let's get this over with so my "To Do" list can get shorter
I'm also still getting calls from last minute people for the Golf Outing. It doesn't matter what deadline date I use, there will always be people who miss it Luckily I've been running it for 20 years now and I'm somewhat used to it. This year seems a little worse than previous years, it's probably just because there is so much happening at the same time.
Lars, are you settling in at the job? You mentioned your carpenter's estimate; what project is first on your agenda? Any car news?
I have no idea which project will be first at the new place if we're going forward. I'm all over the place with where to start. Really it doesn't matter, as far as I'm concerned the whole place needs to be redone so we really could start anywhere! I'm torn between the Kitchen or Master Suite The Master Suite is cheaper, but we need to run plumbing and electric lines up to the attic for where another bedroom and bathroom will be after the main floor is done, according to DH a few years from now. The cost of a Kitchen has me thinking OMG Of course Mike says he would like to be done renovating by Christmas 2010. Apparently he has been very bored for a long time My time line is more like Christmas 2012!
We have another showing tonight. Even though we're under "contract" the deal is not "done" until the congtingency period expiration, I think that's sometime this coming weekend. Tonight's people know we're under contract with someone, but they still want to look at the house, it's actually a 2nd walk-through, and their realtor was trying to get a feel from ours as to whether the current deal is "done" yet. We haven't heard anything back from the inspections so I guess it's really not unless the current buyer accepts the terms of the Agreement of Sale with no changes and requests no credits or repairs. My feeling is bring on the offers!

I have been so tired this week from work etc so havnt had the time to reply to anything at all.
I had the carpenter here in Tueday to make an estimate. I havnt heard back yet. but it will be less then I thought. Which is very nice
The first project is to devide the rooms into a kitchen and bedroom, then put a new kitchen up in the main floor then the roof AND with the roof we will make a roof terrace and make 3 rooms into a big loft lounge which can also be used as a bedroom.
the rest has to wait until maybe the spring, unless we do the bathroom this winter.
The rest of the refurbish in the lounge, bedrooms we can do ourselves.
I booked out flight to Copehangen today Leaving September 4 at 7am arriving Copenhagen 10am. I love arriving early but not having to leave the house at 5am!!! specially after finishing work around Midnight September 3 I see not much sleep at all Well, who care. Its vacation, right
We are not doing any tours in Bergen or Geiranger. We are walking around Bergen, maybe hooking up with some relatives. In Geiranger I doubt we even walk ashore. My sister is at our house in Aalesund dog sitting and lets face it, I have been there a few million times

I have a Dr's appointment this afternoon that I have to leave here in about 15 minutes for and I'll be done for the day. I been carting around so much paperwork that I don't want to leave it in my car while at the Dr so I'm leaving all of it and my laptop here at work tonight.
I don't know if this is a good idea, you know I'll be second guessing this decision at 8pm But a night off from the internet is probably a good thing for me, maybe I'll be asleep very early? Probably not, but it sounds good right now
Also, my laptop sounds like some of the keys are sticking. They're not, but it's making funny noise There may be a new one in my future.
I have something else I have to do before I leave, so I'll catch you tomorrow or Friday! Sweet dreams, when you head off to find sleep

I know its very stressing for you right now but you must be so excited also. I know I would be
30 days until I cruise nope I wasnt expecting this one. Hey, its only 31 days until your cruise YOU and Mike do really need this cruise. It will be very well deserved!!!
I hope I speak to you tomorrow Its "A"s birthday tomorrow so we will have some friends over for cake. I am making the cake tomorrow. Cream cake with vanilla and Rum filling and raspberries on top I think it will be good!!
