No price changes have happened for the Star. Believe me, I would have been on here to tell everyone

I figure they may do some form of early booking deal on the Star's itinerary in November or December for 2010. I know I got a flyer about the Grand's Nov 2009 sailing right around the time of our BOTS cruise. I can't remember if it was right before or after the cruise, but it was in that general time frame because I remember thinking well the BOTS is happening or just happened so since that's next November I'll look at it more later.

I will have to check the prices in Norway and in Euros. I will have to use the TA that give me a price reduction after booking.

Well, yes, the movers are not suppose to go breaking things

but if they do I plan to say something. Its just that I know the guy who owns the moving company and he said we will talk about payment after he returns from vacation.
Soo, since the price is very very good for me I cant really say much, add to that he is married to my cousin! But everything will be fine

We saw and "A" (of course" took lots of pictures, of the Jewel of the seas in town today

Yes, I did see "our" GS

and the streets where filled with your country men and women with a few English, Spanish and Italians in between

"A" will put the pix up on FB when we wakes up from his late siesta. He told me to wake him up at 630pm.

Also, I finished New Moon yesterday. I bought the follow up, Eclipse today

Its good...it starts a bit slow but it picks up.
Its a good read for a vacation and if you want something light to read

Kaite called yesterday. She is flying to Europe today and she will be here July 17-22! I am looking forward to that. Which reminds me I have to ask for some of those days off at work

I forgot to list the 5th category of obstructed oceanview for the Grand; the price is $2,240! If I was just booking today on the Nov 6th Grand, you could bet I would be in a Mini-Suite!

Lars, we do have plenty of time

I figure the sale won't be until the winter. I just happened to think too, I will be a past guest on Princess after November

If I don't make a bad impression on the staff, maybe they'll send me some coupons?

There is a benefit to knowing the person doing your moving. #1 they won't disappear and #2 since you know them they'll want everything to work out good and not have you upset over something

Wow you are getting to see lots of ships! I'm so jealous! I'd be trying to figure out how to get on them though so maybe it's good that I'm not able to see ships close by my home

I still have not made it out to a bookstore. Originally I thought that T and I were going up around one last Friday for dinner; but when they said strong thunder storms with hail were expected, we decided to go to the Chinese restaurant closer to our homes. There were a couple travel guides, in addition to the Twilight books I wanted to see if I could find. I'll get there, eventually, I hope

Well one good thing is that "A" will be around if you have to work with the new job and all that.

I am so glad that I have most of the ports figured out for Adventure OTS. I have much reading to do with the Ruby ports. I cannot remember everything I did before on my land vacations to St. Lucia and St. Kitts/Nevis

It's funny, the cruise port things we did come right back to me though

They were more recent also. We were in St. Lucia for a full week so you would think I could remember alot more than just the hotel names we stayed at and the Brig Unicorn tall ship tour we did

My pictures from St. Lucia are up the mountains too, we moved them up there when the house was for sale so I can't even look at them to jog my memory

I had a look around for the pricing on the Star and it has not moved anything yet. But as you say it will sometime during the winter.
I have the cruise on email alert so when the price start to move I will know.

You have done most of the ports for the Ruby cruise right??!!!
So you can either do something different or just take it very slow. I would have taken it very slow

Do you want to do something in each port????
I havent been on the group cruise thread in a while but I guess there are some activity there. There usually are on those group cruise threads.

I'm at the Princess site just about every day also now, monitoring the Ruby price

Right now I have a rough idea of the cost but since I'm not officially "booked" yet, that will be this weekend, I'm watching to make sure it doesn't go lower than the price I was told.

It's funny, my normal morning routine is to go on RCCL and check my Adventure price; hop onto Princess and "update" all the prices for the cruises I have saved, then if nothing work related happens I come here

There is a private tour being organized by someone on DS in St. Lucia that covers a lot that I was able to join so that port is taken care of and this cruise goes to Princess Cays where we're going to rent a bungalow for the day

I'm in with Ruth, Hanna and her DH so far, they can accomodate 6 so I guess there could be 2 more that join us too.

The only island I haven't been to on the Ruby cruise is Antigua. I printed out Princess' Excursions for all the ports to give me a rough idea of what there was to do and there is all kinds of info on the Group threads here and the roll call on DS. I'll narrow down my options in a couple weeks, you know me

and figure out if I'm just going to take it slow, ship excursion or something more adventurous.
