Yep, teens will be teens. I swear the new parenting of not hitting kids has created this mess!

Growing up, if a neighbor told my Dad I did 1/2 of what these kids are doing, he'd have whooped my butt and I'd have been grounded! But that's another discussion

Definitely look into whether you could donate something and have it written off your tax return, I don't know how your tax system works, if you file returns at the end of the tax year like we do here? I'd offer to look it up for you, but something tells me the info would be in Norwegian and not English!

I guess the longest day has him wondering if something changes?

Hoestly, i will have to look into this at a later date. We do or we can rather file for our tax return in January or before end of February I think! - We can do it electronically or if we dont have sold or bought anything then we dont have to do it. The banks etc will send it automaticly to the tax office.

Its a FANTASTIC day here!! sun shine, blue skies and the temp is just percfect.

and I also taked to the unemploymnet office if I could get money as I am really unemployed but they said NO

but I registered as unemployed

I applied for 2 jobs this morning. One job was at a deli (fantastic hours) the other was at a hotel in Aalesund. They need an all around manager which calso can work nights. I spoke to the director and she got so exited when I told her what I have done previously she set up a meeting for tomorrow at 2pm

This, before I sent her my CV!!!

We had lunch in the garden today. Salmon with ratatoulle and new potatoes and ice cream for dessert

"A" and me are doing gardening work today. The weather is just to nice to be inside. I needed a break so thats why I am here

- "A" is cutting the lawn again and loves it!!!

It sounds like our taxes are differently here; but worth a chat with friends about it (when you're really bored one day)

It is HOT here today. Very humid, I hate the humidity, makes the air feel too thick for breathing. We expecting thunder storms this afternoon. I think we've only had 1 or 2 days in the whole month of June with no rain! At least the sun is shining, a little too brightly!

Oh I hope one of your meetings turns out to be your job!

Out of the Deli and Hotel, which one do you like better?

Sounds like a very nice lunch! I'm going home to let Diva out at lunch time and plan to have a peanut butter & jelly sandwich

I don't blame you not wanting to be inside when the weather is calling you outside

I'm narrowing down which fence companies to call to try to arrange appointments for them to come out and give me estimates. I do a little more research other than calls after being burned on something personal before by a company (long, long story!)

The accounting computer was also giving me trouble this morning not wanting to boot up GRRRR; it's been doing some strange things since I added all those printers so I've been trying to troubleshoot which printer it is and I think I may have it working right now

If not, I may throw it by the end of the day

Did you manage to fix the problem with the accounting computer??? I hate it when it happens!!
I am not sure which job i would prefer....the one that gives me the most money or the one that gives me the most job satisfaction??? The Deli job has by far the best working hours. This Deli is a 15 minute walk from where we live. The Hotel could be all hours including weekends, holidays etc!! dont know yet

We have managed to do a lot of gardening work today. I am tired but it feels good

Tomorrow we are back to painting

We got some more paint today

and we saw some really nice wallpaper for the entrance hall. Its white andvery light grey thick stripes. I need to get a job soon the way we are spending

But its for ourselves so its fun

We even got rid of some really old funiture. My dad got offended because we didnt ask him first...opps

But he will be ok, its to much furniture in this house anyway. We cant keep everything!!

I dont like humidity, not my kind of weather at all....sooo, you can keep it

Robin posted some graduation pictures over at FB

I started to take "before" pictures but "A" wants to post the before and after pictures at the same time

I think the problem is fixed..although I'm not 100% sure since I haven't rebooted

I'm just turning off the monitor tonight since I have a bunch of accounting stuff to do tomorrow and after that I'll reboot since I'll have a couple days to fix things if it's still acting up.

Mike is working late and I just ordered a pizza for dinner so I'm here waiting for it to get done so I can pick it up on the way home...I forgot to call him and the pizza place earlier

Oh well, no biggie; I'll be out of here by 5:15

I haven't been to FB today. I wrote on Linda's wall last night and played some poker, but I've been busier on cruise things

Well it's time to pack up and go get my pizza

I only had a small snack can of cheddar pringles potato crisps for lunch, weren't all that good either!

I had some errands I ended up running so it cut short my eating time. Oh well, needless to say I'm hungry now

Hi Lars

Whew, what a busy day today! I'm ready for tomorrow to be a slow Friday

I'll be staying put down here this weekend. From looking at the calendar the earliest we'd be going up the mountains is the weekend of July 10th - 12th. But I am planning to take some days off in July and go for a long weekend either the following weekend or weekend after that one

I'll be taking my Mom with me then and if Mike is no longer working OT, he'll be driving up with Diva.

So how is the painting going? Any news on the job search?

I was busy working just about all day

So I have to catch up on my fun things tonight when I get home. I just hopped on here real fast to say Hi

Hola Judy

Its been a looong day here. I was awake at 5am

We have now finished the one room. I cant belive it took us a week. Its the slowest we ever have paitned before. Tomorrow we start with room no.2

The job interview went really good today. I sat in the meeting for 1.5 hours, we were chatting away like we were old friends!! Its a combination postions both kitchen, restaurant and bar. The hours are only in the evening, from around 3pm to 11pm or even later...I am not sure if I want it but...I dont know...the hotel is very nice. Its a very small boutiqe hotel. They said they will decide very fast

because I said I had planned to start around July 1

soooo, I have to see what is happening and also the sallary. It will be a pain in the beginning before I buy a car as the last busses leaves town around 11pm-midnight. If I finish later I have to take a taxi home and THAT will add up to a lot!!!
ANYWAY

tomorrow we are going with my sister and her DH on their boat for a trip around the fjords and islands. Should be fun.
I have the feeling its Friday today. I almost worote TGIF

Did anything happen when you rebooted???
